It is regarded as an alpha global city. It also occupies the 8th position globally in terms of economic wealth. In Latin America it is the richest city.
  3. Washington : 
    As a result of being the national capital every arm of the US Federal Government is present at the district. Most of the famous museums and monuments of USA are there at this region as well. It also houses the World Bank head offices as well as 176 consulates. IMF, Inter-American Development Bank, OAS and PAHO are headquartered at the district as well.
