Belton, established in 1850 as the county seat of the Bell County, in Texas, USA, is a beautiful and exciting place. The area was first settled in the late 1840s. Belton was in fact the new name given to the county seat of Bell County, earlier called as Nolanville. This new name was given by the Texas legislature while incorporating the town in 1851.
