2008 US Presidential Elections Updates





June 4, 2008 :  Presumptive nominee John McCain has expectedly clinched the South Dakota Republican Primary at Montana - June 3. Senator McCain has won 70% of the popular votes, leaving Ron Paul at a distant second place with 17% of the votes. It is believed that he will carry all the delegates from this state tied for the June 3 Primary.
Feb 9, 2008 :  Barack Obama swept the Nebraska Democratic Presidential Caucus- February 9by a margin of 36% votes over his rival Hillary Clinton.

Feb 9, 2008 :  The State of Washington went to polls on 9th February, 2008 for nominating Democratic Presidential candidates for 2008 US Presidential Election.

Jan 19, 2008 : The Republican Primary South Carolina - Jan. 19 saw a narrow win for Arizona Senator John McCain. This was a very important win for McCain in the early phase of the primaries.

May 20, 2008 : John McCain has won the Republican Primary at Oregon - May 20.

Jan 15, 2008 : The Michigan Democratic Presidential Primary - January 15 saw a100% participation from the constituent precincts of the state.

Jan 19, 2008 : Some great news awaited Barack Obama and his supporters on Friday, just days before the Feb. 19 Primaries at Wisconsin and Hawaii.

March 4, 2008 :  The Texas and Ohio Democratic Primaries to be held today will be crucial in determining the future prospects of Sen.

Feb 19, 2008 : Senator Barack Obama won the Democratic Caucuses at Hawaii - Feb. 19, defeating Sentaor Hillary Clinton by an overwhelming margin of over 50% votes.

April 22, 2008 :  Both Democratic contenders Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton have entered the last round of campaigns the day before the Pennsylvania Primary on 22nd April.

Feb 5, 2008 : According to the county exit poll reports, Mike Huckabee was declared the projected winner of the Arkansas Republican Primary - February 5.
