Thailand Election




Thailand Election indeed play an important role in the smooth functioning of the government. The National Assembly of Thailand consists of two chambers.
500 members of the House of Representative are elected for four years. Out of 500 members, 100 are elected by proportional representation. As Thailand has got a multi-party system, no single party can have absolute majority. Hence, the parties form coalition government. For efficient functioning of the government, the Thailand Election has got a free and fair system of voting. Through this voting the political candidates are selected for public office.

Election in Thailand is mainly based on the choices and preferences of the people. Here the people are free to choose their own government. The voters are advised to vote in a free and fair manner, so that inefficient and incompetent persons do not get elected to the place of power. The voters should be educated enough to avoid the influence of rigging. Various voting methods are executed to make the Thailand Election pure and effective. These methods include binary voting methods, ranked voting methods, Condorcet methods, proportional methods, semi-proportional methods and few others. The political parties must take care to set up such a government, which can understand the problems of the people and can solve them.
