April 25 , 2015
Ali Abdullah Saleh, the former Yemini president, has appealed to his Houthi allies to withdraw from areas which they have occupied to bring an end to Saudi-led air strikes.
He also called upon Saudi Arabia and the various Yemini factions to enter peace talks mediated by the UN.
Though Saudi Arabia has declared that the air strikes against the Shia Houthi rebels had achieved their goals, it has not ruled out further military action.
