At least 12 people were injured when two Mexico City subway trains collided at the Oceanía metro station. However, no fatalities were reported. Though the authorities gave no immediate explanation as to what led to the crash but media reports suggest that one train crashed into the other that was already at the station. A tweet showed the two trains jammed into each other. City Fire Chief Raul Esquivel said that emergency workers and 40 firefighters were at the station.
