Turkey heads to second parliamentary poll in 5 months

Turkey is heading to the polls to choose a new parliament for the second time in five months after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s AK Party could not retain its majority in the June election.
Attempts to cobble together a coalition government did not succeed.
Security and ethnic tensions are uppermost in the minds of voters following deadly bombings that have killed scores of people and clashes with Kurdish militant groups.
