Tunisia: Blast hits bus carrying presidential guards; 13 killed
November 25 , 2015
At least 13 people have been killed in a blast that hit a bus ferrying presidential guards in Tunisia, prompting President Beji Caid Essebsi to declare a 30-day emergency.
The incident occurred in the capital Tunis, which has now been placed under curfew.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Islamic State has targeted Tunisia in the past. A deadly gun attack in June claimed by the Islamic State on the beach resort of Sousse had killed 38 people, many of them foreign tourists.
