Spain marks first anniversary of "Indignants" protests

Tens of thousands of people have protested across Spain to mark the first anniversary of the “Indignants” movement.
Plans to occupy Madrid’s Puerta del Sol square were thwarted by police as they moved in to disperse the crowds who ignored a midnight deadline.
The movement stemmed from anger at the impact of Spain’s economic crisis and austerity measures
