Remains of Malaysian victims of flight MH17 arrive home

  • An aircraft carrying the first remains of Malaysian nationals who were on board flight MH17 returned home.

    The Malaysia Airlines flight was shot down over the skies of east Ukraine, killing all 298 passengers and crew on board. The victims included 193 Dutch nationals and 43 Malaysians.

    On a day of mourning, the coffins at Kuala Lumpur airport were received by Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, the king of Malaysia, prime minister Najib Razak, and other senior officials.
