Reduction in illegal migrants post EU-Turkey deal

According to a top EU official, last months EU-Turkey deal to tackle the migrant crisis is starting to produce results with a sharp reduction in illegal migration flows. In another development, Turkish prime minister Ahmed Davutoglu reiterated Turkey’s demand to provide visa free travel to its citizens, stating that his country has fulfilled its part of the deal and now it is EU’s turn to reciprocate by allowing turkey to enter the EU's Schengen area. However, diplomats says only half of the 72 conditions required by the deal have been fulfilled so far.
