November 6 , 2014
Orbital Sciences has indicated that it may stop the use of Russia-made engines that were on the Antares rocket which exploded just after take-off.
The unmanned rocket, bound for the International Space Station, was carrying commercial supplies.
The firm said preliminary investigation results show that one of the two main engines of the first launch stage may have possibly failed.
Orbital said it would fulfill its Nasa contract and deliver the remaining cargo by the end of 2016.
