Old people can now seek help dying in Switzerland

Old people can now reportedly seek assistance in suicide in Switzerland and the group Exit said it would help them die even if they don't suffer from a terminal disease.
Media reports indicate that the Swiss Medical Association doesn't support the move since the elderly could want to end their lives under pressure. However, Exit mentioned that only those who may fall under the category are the ones that have been contemplating death for a while.
Reports suggest that there will also be no further need for some of the medical checks that are normally necessary. "Old patients feel they do not have the energy for all of this and it is also not so dignified," a VP said.
