North and South Korea agree to resume stalled talks

North and South Korea have reportedly agreed to resume high-level talks which had been stalled since February.
North Korean officials, led by two senior figures, made a surprise visit to South Korea for the Asian Games’ closing ceremony, reports in the South Korea media said. The two sides have agreed to meet again in the next few weeks.
Hwang Pyong-so, believed to be North Korea’s second-most powerful man, held talks with South Korea’s reunification minister Ryoo Kihl-jae.
