Journalist critical of government's Ebola response in Sierra Leone jailed

A journalist from Sierra Leone who questioned the government’s response to the Ebola epidemic has allegedly been jailed after being beaten under emergency regulations meant to control the outbreak.
David Tam Baryoh, a well-known radio journalist, is reportedly being detained at Freetown's Pademba Road prison.
Monologue, his weekly program, was taken off air after he interviewed a member of the opposition who made critical remarks about the president’s alleged aim to run for office for a third time.
