Israeli PM warns US against inking nuclear deal with Iran
March 4 , 2015
Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the nuclear deal being negotiated with Iran could “pave its way” to an Iranian bomb.
In a speech delivered to the US Congress, he described Iran as a “threat” to the whole world.
Netanyahu’s decision to bypass the White House and speak to a Republican-dominated Congress has been criticized by the Obama administration.
In comments made after Netanyahu’s speech, president Obama said the Israeli prime minister had not offered “any viable alternatives” to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear bomb.
