Hiroshima atomic bomb survivors seek apology from Obama

  • With the US president Barack Obama scheduled to visit Hiroshima on 27 May, a group representing Japanese survivors of the US atomic bombings on the city, has asked the president to hear their stories and also apologize for the bombings which killed more than 200,000 people and nearly destroyed several cities. Obama is indeed the first serving American president who’ll be visiting Hiroshima.
