    January 31, 2017: As per reports, a French-Canadian student named Alexandre Bissonnette has been charged over the fatal shooting of six worshipers at a mosque in Quebec. Bissonnette is going to face six counts of first-degree murder as well as five of attempted murder. The 27-year-old appeared in a Quebec City court.

    When the shooting took place on Sunday, more than 50 people were present at the mosque. Six people lost their lives while at least 19 people were wounded.

    Six People Killed in Shooting at Quebec City Mosque

    January 30, 2017: As per reports, a number of people were killed and wounded after gunmen opened fire during evening prayers at Quebec City mosque, Canada. The attack took place at the Quebec Islamic Cultural Center of the city. The attack was confirmed by the Quebec City Police department.

    One person has been arrested and the situation was brought under control as per reports. The investigation is being carried out and the occupants from the site were evacuated.
