Death Toll Rises to 832 in Calamity Struck Indonesia

  • After Indonesia's city of Palu was hit by a tsunami and a quake, there has been a destruction on a large scale. So far 832 people are confirmed dead and the toll is to reach drastically higher as more of the remote areas will be reached. It is also being believed that dozens are trapped under the debris. The rescue work is currently an uphill task because of broken telecommunications and blocked roads. The authorities have revealed that the mass burial of the dead will soon begin as they fear there could be an outbreak of diseases.
