China holds 3-Minutes Commemoration during National Day of Reflection to Mourn COVID-19 Martyrs
April 4 , 2020
China held a 3-minute commemoration in all major cities (including Wuhan, the Chinese city from which the COVID-19 pandemic started) at 10 am local time to honor those who have died in the coronavirus outbreak. The national flags were flown at half-mast all across China as well as at Chinese embassies and consulates abroad as per the order of the State Council. All public events were also suspended. Reports say that in these 3-minutes of “wall of grief”, all the cars, ships, and trains joined in.
