April 5 , 2015
The death toll from the floods in Chile has increased to 25 and there are fears that it could rise further, according to rescue workers.
More than 100 people are still believed to be missing after mudslides and flash floods hit the northern Atacama region last week.
More than 2,500 people have been rendered homeless, authorities said. President Michelle Bachelet has pledged aid to boost recovery efforts.
The floods, which have affected around 30,000 people, have been described as the worst in the Atacama region in eight decades.
