Afghanistan: 5 killed, 25 injured in suspected Taliban attack
April 9 , 2015
At least five people have been killed and 25 injured after gunmen stormed the attorney general’s office in Mazar-e-Sharif city in northern Afghanistan.
The attackers were reportedly dressed in military uniform.
The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the assault. The death toll could rise as the gunmen are still inside the building, which has been surrounded by Afghan troops.
The incident comes a day after a US soldier was killed in eastern Afghanistan.
