  • More than 35 people were feared killed and about 70 injured in a collision involving multiple vehicles in Peru.

Reports indicated that a bus that crossed over into an opposite lane collided with a truck and two buses moving in the opposite direction.

The accident occurred in the early morning on the highway close to Huarmey, some 200 miles from capital Lima.

An initial probe suggested that the driver of the bus, that went into the wrong lane, fell asleep at the wheel.
