Hacker gives naked pictures to 'Revenge Porn' boss

  • The owner of the "revenge porn" site, which let several people post naked photos of their exes, reportedly obtained his content in another way.

A hacker took these photos from email accounts of people and the finding led to the FBI arresting Hunter Moore. He was charged with identity theft, hacking and conspiracy. The man named Charles Evens, who did all his dirty work was arrested as well.

Wired notes that the two men began emailing each other in 2011 and the hacking ended in May 2012. It shared a quote from Moore to a woman whose photos were posting on the site: "I don't know how you can point a finger at me; you took the picture. I'm sure you're smart and go to school. I mean, it's 2012, what do you expect to happen? Somebody's going to monetize this and I was the person to do it."
