Google agreed to removing image from maps

A 14-year-old teen was murdered four years ago and his family recently discovered that his body along with the police car and officers can be viewed on Google Maps.
They were alerted to the image by a local TV news station and the company has reportedly agreed to get rid of it. Kevin Barrera was shot on a footpath in Northern California and the crime is not yet solved. "All the memories are coming back to four years ago," his dad said. "I'm in shock."
The Google Maps VP said the company has never "accelerated the replacement of updated satellite" before but this a different circumstance.
It could take as many as eight days for the company to replace the image. It may also open itself to similar requests in the future.
