Adobe releases update to Flash after security threat revealed
July 9 , 2015
Adobe updated its Flash software to plug a vulnerability that became public after data got stolen from an internet surveillance company.
Hacking Team, an Italian company, sells software to various countries’ intelligence agencies.
Interestingly, the stolen data that was posted online suggested that the surveillance firm was aware of the security hole in Flash, but chose not to inform Adobe.
Adobe has now released an update for Flash users to install.
