Rain halts Nadal and Djokovic final
June 11 , 2012
The French Open final between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic is set to resume at 11:00 GMT after play was suspended due to persistent rain Roland Garros.
Defending champion Nadal was leading 6-4 6-3 2-6 1-2 when the players were forced off the court.
World number one Djokovic dominated play, however, having won eight games in a row to secure the third set and an early break in the fourth.
Nadal is aiming to break a record he holds with Bjorn Borg by winning a seventh title at Roland Garros. He looked to be heading towards victory as he scored a two-set lead and a break advantage in the third set.
