Golf: Jordan Spieth dominates at Augusta, wins first major

  • Continuing his superb form, Jordan Spieth won his first major in a record-breaking performance at the Masters in Augusta.

The American’s score equaled the lowest winning one in the history of the Masters. The 21-year-old, who came second last year on his debut, won on 18 under after shooting a two-under 70.

Justin Rose and Phil Mickelson were joint second while Rory McIlroy, the world number one, tied for fourth.

Spieth has become the second-youngest winner of the Masters after Tiger Woods.
