Oprah Winfrey says 'sorry'

Oprah Winfrey hadn't expected the Switzerland incident to blow out of proportion. Winfrey said she purposely hadn't mentioned the name of the store and she's 'sorry' for saying that she had experienced racism in the country.
In an interview, the celebrity talked about a store in Zurich that refused to show her a $38,000 handbag saying she couldn't afford it.
Winfrey said, "I didn't have anything that said 'I have money': I wasn't wearing a diamond stud. I didn't have a pocketbook. I don't wear Louboutin shoes. I didn't have anything," Winfrey said. "You should be able to go in a store looking like whatever you look like and say 'I'd like to see this'. That didn't happen."
The owner of the store apologized to Winfrey last week but she insisted it wasn't necessary.
