Strollers recalled after reported accidents
February 3 , 2014
Britax is recalling about 216k strollers after being informed of a risk to amputate fingertips and several other injuries.
Reports suggest that these injuries occur when the release button is pressed in order to pull on the release strap and eight incidents have been reported so far. The single and double strollers in question were sold between 2011 and 2013 for up to $450.
Customers should ask for a free repair kit by calling Britax on 866- 204-1665 and stop using the strollers immediately.
The Fred & Friends novelty pacifiers have been recalled as well since there are some choking concerns but no injuries have been reported as of yet.
