Pizza Hut offered GM his job back

  • A Pizza Hut general manager, who went to the media and said he lost his job since he wanted the company employees to have a day off on Thanksgiving has been told he can have the job back if he wishes to.

The head office stepped in after the bad publicity and the company's corporate officials said the franchise "made a serious error in judgement."

The office mentioned that they respect employees' right to not have to work on holidays. "As a result, we strongly recommended that the local franchise reinstate the store manager and they have agreed." There's no information on whether or not Rohr has accepted the offer.
