Several major global apparel and fashion brands have been accused of labor abuse in Cambodia.
Human Rights Watch said it had uncovered alleged rights abuses at garment factories that supply products big names such as Gap, Marks & Spencer, Adidas and Armani.
Evidence of anti-union practices and discrimination had been found, the rights group said. People were allegedly forced to work beyond normal hours.
Aruna Kashyap, a researcher with Human Rights Watch, stressed the need for global apparel brands to ensure labor law compliance.
