Greece debt crisis: No solution in sight after key players meet

  • The deadlock between Greece and its lenders over the country’s debt crisis continues even after several top-level meetings between the key players.

Greece needs to repay a €1.6 billion IMF loan before the end of this month.

Meanwhile, Germany's chancellor Angela Merkel has warned that not only had progress towards a solution stalled, in some aspects “we're even going backwards.”

A Greek default could potentially pave the way for its exit from the eurozone.
