Eurozone setup "unsustainable", says ECB chief
May 31 , 2012
European Central Bank (ECB) president Mario Draghi has said the current setup of the eurozone is “unsustainable” and has urged leaders to decide what they want the bloc to look like in the future.
He added the ECB could not "fill the vacuum" left by governments on creating growth and economic reforms.
Draghi’s comments were made after the release of a series of economic data.
Germany's unemployment rate fell below 7% as Europe's biggest economy continued to perform well. Eurozone inflation figures are due out later in the day.
