2M credit cards replaced after Target hack
January 15 , 2014
As many as 110 million people were affected by the Target data breach. Apart from Target, Neiman Marcus and other top retailers were hit during this holiday season as well.
Reports suggest that JPMorgan is replacing 2M debit and credit cards after the massive Target breach. CEO Jamie Dimon said cybersecurity was a big deal and retailers need to put an effort into protecting themselves from such scams.
Customers, on the other hand, don't seem to be too worried given that these incidents haven't stopped them from using credit and debit cards. Dimon mentioned that there is a little bit of change in regards to Target "but not in general."
