December 3 , 2019
Senior doctors from public hospitals in Zimbabwe went on strike to protest against progressively worse working conditions. The doctors' association also says that over 435 junior doctors were also fired by the government over poor salaries raised issue. However, a small group of doctors remained on duty while junior doctors protesting for higher pay. Some senior doctors called country's hospitals as silent genocide as doctors are forced to work without basic requirements such as syringes, gloves and bandages.
