Yale University Expelled a Student Over Bribery
March 27 , 2019
Yale University has expelled a student from college, accusing his family of indulging in bribery of $1.2 million to ensure admission. It was reported that this case is similar to that of an ex-football coach who was prosecuted for giving a chance to the non-athletic student, by accepting a bribe of $400,000. As a consequence celebrity parents were caught in a scandal for fraud. On investigating the matter evidence stated that Women's football coach Rudy Meredith was one of the 50 members who was involved in the scam. Rudy resigned last November and was responsible for endorsement of two students, out of which one was denied and other was given admission. This university, which is situated in New Haven, Connecticut, will keep the identity of the student anonymous.
