White House Trade Adviser Navarro Thinks Ball is in China's Court

  • Peter Navarro, the White House trade adviser, is unsure of how long will it take for China and the US to reach a trade deal. As the trade war is going on between the two biggest economies of the world, he stated that “The balls are in China's court.” He believes that China is engaged in unfair trade practices and stopping them only would restore the balance as before in the economic world. The trade talks between the two countries stopped after Trump announced in September that he would slap the Asian economy with the biggest tariff rounds ever - $200 billion on imports. Until now, the US has imposed taxes on Chinese goods worth $250 billion.
