US-South Korea War Game Exercises to be Stopped Completely
March 3 , 2019
The United States and South Korea has confirmed reports that they are all set to end their large scale war games. Reports say this step is undertaken by the US and its ally South Korea to support the diplomatic efforts for achieving “complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula”. The large-scale joint military exercises will not be held anymore by the US and South Korea in the Korean Peninsula. This is mainly because North Korea considers this as an attempt of the United States to invade their country militarily. The final decision of ending Foal Eagle and Key Resolve series of exercises was taken after a telephonic conversation between the US and South Korean defense ministers.
