US President Trump Doesn't Rule Out Military Response against Venezuela if Necessary
August 12 , 2017
A day after Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro offered "mutually respectful" dialogue with the US, hinting at his presence at the United Nations General Assembly in September in New York, White House said that the US President Donald Trump will talk to the leader of Venezuela once “democracy is restored in that country”. White House has also turned down Maduro’s request of a telephonic conversation with Trump. With US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley by his side, US President told media that they are not ruling out military options against Venezuela. Pentagon has reportedly denied receiving any orders regarding Venezuela.
