Ukraine ceasefire: Rebels 'fully remove' weapons from front line
March 8 , 2015
Rebels in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk area say they have “fully removed” heavy arms from the front line as part of the Minsk ceasefire agreement.
Separatist leader Alexander Zakharchenko said Ukrainian government forces had not yet done the same.
Despite some violations, the truce seems to be holding, reports say. The ceasefire is being monitored by the Organization for security and cooperation in Europe.
Dozens of prisoners have already been exchanged as part of the peace plan.
