UK Travelers May be Denied Entry to US if They Don't Hand in Passwords
April 10 , 2017
As per reports, the Trump administration is considering a new “extreme vetting” policy which says British tourists traveling to the United States may be denied from entering into the country if they do not hand over personal information which will include social media passwords and mobile phone contacts.
Reports also say that since the US citizens now have rights against unlawful searches at the border, tourists from UK and even its allies France and Germany could be forced to provide their personal data and reveal financial information.
Foreign travelers can fill up a US Citizenship and Immigration Services form G-28 before flying. This will help them to choose an attorney to represent them if they are arrested at the border.
