UK polls: David Cameron's Conservative Party heads to victory
May 8 , 2015
David Cameron’s Conservative Party is set to form a slender majority in the UK as it consolidated its position in England and Wales in an election which has given a major jolt to Labour, which is decimated in Scotland.
According to projections, the Tories may get around 330 seats. Labour leader Ed Miliband may stand down, reports said. SNP was the other big winner of the poll, sweeping Scotland.
The Lib Dems have ended up with fewer than 10 seats and Ukip failed to live up to its promise.
