Tunisia terror attack: 80 mosques that 'incite violence' to be closed
June 27 , 2015
Tunisian prime minister Habib Essid has announced the shutting down of around 80 mosques that allegedly incite violence, after 39 people were killed in a terror attack in the country.
Foreign nationals including Germans, Britons and French were among those killed when a gunman opened fire on a beach in Sousse, a tourist resort town. The suspect was later killed by the police.
The killings in Tunisia came on a day when a man was decapitated in a factory in France and dozens were killed in Kuwait in an assault on a Shia mosque.
