Trump: Libya Model Will Not Be Used on North Korea

In a statement which raised many eyebrows in bafflement, US President Donald Trump has contradicted the take of his own national security adviser John Bolton. Going against his statement, Trump has revealed that the "Libya model" for denuclearisation will not be followed with North Korea.

The earlier statement released by John Bolton infuriate the North after which it threatened to withdraw from the summit.

Muammar Gaddafi, a Libya leader, in 2003 agreed to give up the country's nuclear programme in return of lifting of sanctions on the country. He was years later killed by West supported rebels- the reason which alarmed Kim Jong-un to threaten to pull out of the deal.
