Trump Gearing towards Russia Summit

  • US President Donald Trump is slated to hold a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Monday. This would be his meeting right after he ends his European tour, which hit headlines for him criticizing his allies. Trump has cleared that the meeting in Russia has no formal agenda. However, he said that he would raise the issue of 2016 when 12 Russians were accused of hacking the US elections. There have been allegations which suggest Trump has been urged to cancel the meeting, but Russia has denied all such allegations stating that it was looking forward to the meet and considers it as a vehicle for improving the relations.
