The climate change control cost is modest

The head of the UN's expert panel said the cost to keep a check on global warming is modest if we are quick enough to do something about the heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere.
The panel mentioned that the lack of additional measures will result global temperatures to rise five to seven degrees Fahrenheit by the end of the century.
"The longer we delay the higher would be the cost," IPCC chairman said. "But despite that... the cost is not something that's going to bring about a major disruption of economic systems."
