Thailand's PM begs for peace
November 29 , 2013
Thailand's prime minster Yingluck Shinawatra begged protestors to end the latest crisis in the country by calling off their demonstrations.
The protestors aim to bring down her government but they won't be able to succeed without judicial or military intervention and more support.
"Please call off the protests for the country's peace," she said. "I'm begging you, the protestors, because this doesn't make the situation any better."
Former deputy PM Suthep Thaugsuban, who now has an arrest warrant issued against him, is leading the protests and mentioned that he won't enter any negotiations.
