July 2 , 2014
China is now in the middle of an epidemic because of its stressful work schedules. Reports suggest that about 600k people die each year due to their hard lifestyles.
Bloomberg narrates the story of a man named Li Jianhua, who had been working for the government since 1985. The man traveled for work even while he was ill and skipped a recommended visit to the hospital.
Reports suggest that Jianhua died at the age of 48 this month and his bosses called him "a model for party members and cadres of the China Banking Regulatory Commission." They encouraged other people to strive to be like him.
