Small plane crashes into Kansas airport, 4 killed

  • A plane crashed into a Kansas airport building on Thursday, October 30, killing four people and injuring five, media reports say.

The small Beechcraft plane reportedly lost power after take-off and slammed into the FlightSafety International building in Wichita, sparking a huge fire.

Four people are still unaccounted for, but a search mission had to be suspended after a section of the building gave way.

Three people who died were believed to be inside the building at the time of the crash. The pilot is among the dead.
